There is no clear purpose as to what the user should do. There isn’t a call to action other than the “learn more” button.

Card Sorting
First we need to breakdown the site to it's bare components, the contents. There are links upon links within the main navigation that can be overwhelming to the users. So we took it apart and group what's similar and get rid of what wasn't necessary.
Site Map
Then we categorized what we wanted to go where, and shrunk down the footer menus by removing or placing them where they should be.
Proto Persona
As a group we created a proto persona based on who would use the site or would likely to visit the site.
Heuristics
We then analyzed the Dol.gov to see how the site is structured to get a better understanding on what to focus on.
Wireframes
Mobile
Based on personal findings, I continued to make a mobile wireframe to figure out what the site’s purpose is. As in who would use this site and what exactly does the site have to to offer.
Final
After iterations and changes, the mobile design is quite different from the beginning wireframes but I’m quite content with how it turned out.
